Late 2017
Grattan Donelly, experienced life & business coach, and super inspiring human being, lectured the Coaching for Performance course (DBS) I attended.
Along with other things, he helped me introduce mindfulness practice into my daily routine, and with every practice, I unconsciously started developing my self-awareness more and more.

Mid 2018
My knee & ankle were flared up. I was in pain and desperately looking for answers.

Grattan came for lunch at work and mentioned the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program he was facilitating.
Originally targeting chronic ill people, this program is for curious individuals who would like to learn to observe and manage their stress (in any shape or form) with a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga techniques.

Yes, I’m giving it a go.

8th week 
Last MBSR class and I really didn’t want it to finish.
Grattan, together with the genuinely lovely group, provided a warm and pleasant environment to explore mindfulness and its many benefits.

Today
Thanks to the MBSR program, I completely changed the way I relate to myself and to pain.

It helped me bring mindfulness into my day and develop the observer within me, that is aware of what’s happening but doesn’t judge. Now, I don’t stress if I sense inflammation in any part of my body – I just observe and listen to what my body is trying to tell me. Transition to a vegan diet did indeed help. 

I started picking up the stories I tell to myself. We’re attached to our beliefs and experiences but we’re not aware how much they shape us. But it’s easy to fix: Accept that it is what it is, and it’s okay ! We tend to strive, look for more and we’re rarely satisfied with what we have.

Acknowledge whatever comes, and let it go ♡.
